The Brief
Organisers of Wessex Country Fair, a large-scale public event, approached Winchester Bar Services to set up and run the bar for their 5,000 attendees.
The event was held to raise money for the Salisbury Hospice Charity, in the spectacular grounds of Wilton House.
The Prep & Bar
To make sure the event ran smoothly, we set up the bar the day before and had everything prepped and ready to go.
Accommodating their 5000 guests, we provided a 9m bar and 10 members of staff, so no one had to wait long for their drinks.
The bar looked fantastic set up with flags and is ideal for outdoor events. We even managed to dismantle it at the end of the event in under an hour!
The Drinks
On the day, we were fully stocked with a wide selection of draft beer and cider, spirits, wine and soft drinks.
On tap
The most popular drinks were the ale, lager and Pimms on tap – the perfect thirst quenchers on such a hot day!
Dog bar
As it was a dog-friendly event, we also installed a dog bar to keep our four-legged friends refreshed and cool.
The Results
The event was a fantastic success; our refreshing drinks were a big hit on such a lovely sunny day, as was the dog bar!
